The Partnerships team forms part of the Commercial department within Arsenal, sitting alongside the Brand Marketing, Retail, Digital Experience, Premium Sales and Business Strategy teams within Commercial.

The Partnerships team has a primary objective of revenue generation through purpose driven brand partnerships.Within the Partnerships team there are two main areas of focus - attracting and signing our commercial partners (Partnership Development Team), and also managing the relationships with our partners after signature to ensure both Arsenal and our partners maximise the return from our relationships (Partner Servicing Team).

The Partnerships team works closely with all departments within Arsenal to formulate partnerships that bring the club forward, both on and off the pitch.


Managed by the Partnerships Insights Manager, this roles purpose is to support the early phases of the sales process from list creation to proposal formation.


Supporting the Partnership Development team, who have responsibility for securing new commercial partnership revenues. The everyday tasks of the Partnership Insights Executive are:

  • Supporting the sales prospecting process across global markets and key commercial categories
  • Preparing sector overview documents and building lead lists for outreach
  • Developing a strong understanding of metrics across broadcast, social and digital, survey tools and sentiment analysis.
  • Managing large data sets and picking out the most relevant datapoints to craft a compelling story.
  • Examining club assets and making recommendations on packaging to align with market demands and trends.
  • Working with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure all relevant information is available and updated for Partnership Sales pitches.
  • Developing case studies across a range of partner objectives to aid future commercial sales
  • Updating key competitor's sponsorship portfolio including purpose, values, and terms
  • Taking onboard adhoc projects as and when required

Match/Event responsibilities and organisation

  • Business related entertaining only as required



  • Relevant business degree is preferable but not mandatory.

Specific Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in the relevant sales research role
  • Proven track record of sales research with application to successful sales
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Experience of creating prospect dialogue around sales opportunities, from initial outreach is advantageous


  • Team player who will put team success over individual success
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, competent and confident on the telephone
  • Proactive self-starter with a keen interest to progress within Sponsorship
  • Strong research skills & strong organisational skills, with attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and support team in all areas from administrative to strategic
  • Competence in Microsoft applications as well as CRM experience
  • An understanding of brand dynamics and consumer trends a distinct advantage
  • A passion or empathy with sport/sports entertainment
  • Sport/Sponsorship experience not essential
  • Fluency in languages other than English is an advantage

Reporting directly to the Chairman, this role will define the future DNA of the club.

You will be a forward-thinking individual with exceptional analytical skills combined with a keen eye for detail. You will be required to write a five-year plan that maps out the club’s plans to attract, develop, and nurture the very best talent available.

With an excellent Academy already in place, first class facilities worthy of a Championship Club and a new Indoor Dome awaiting planning approval, the foundations are already in place to mitigate failure and ensure success.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of success albeit in another related sport or industry and be responsible for assembling a small but highly dedicated team from the ground up.

Job Summary


Tottenham Hotspur is a world famous football club based in North London. Off the pitch, the Club has a strong and successful business model centered around building a platform for long-term success, which includes a new world-class stadium.

The Club operates out of multiple sites, including a world class Training Centre in Enfield where this position is based. This venue is the main location for the Club’s Communications department, as well as the centre for the first team and the Academy’s training and coaching activities.

The Club is seeking an experienced Social Media Producer to join its already-successful team, under the guidance of the Club’s Social Media Lead.

Candidates will require an understanding of the platforms and behaviors of football fans, whether from direct experience or from an ability to use data to derive insight, learn and affect change in business practices. 

The successful candidate will join an existing Social Media Producer, Social Media Video Producer and Graphic Designer in a growing team to run our channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Dugout, TikTok and Snapchat, and contribute to running of the wider business.

A knowledge of platform analytics and the way in which insights can impact social media planning, execution and behavior is also key.

The successful candidate will be required to work at a number of First Team matches and selected other fixtures, so a flexible individual is sought.  In addition, it is desirable that candidates hold a full driving licence and own transport.

Key Responsibilities


  • Co-manage the Club’s English language social media channels; Facebook, Twitter, Dugout, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and whichever other channels on which the team choose to maintain a presence
  • Work day-to-day with our localised agencies around the world to help them reach their targets in growth and engagement in the Club’s key target territories
  • Identify key opportunities and develop strategies to exploit them
  • Use data to demonstrate the value of these strategies, using learnings to build campaigns which – alongside investment from the Club – drive visible growth
  • Work closely with the rest of the Social Media Team to ensure platforms are busy and engaging and that all channels are covered with high-quality content.
  • Create engaging and shareable made-for-social content, whether planned and structured or quick and reactive.
  • Contribute to the Content Team’s editorial calendar for planning purposes
  • Social reporting – provide insight into the popularity and consumption of content across the range of social channels using the data to inform strategy and planning.
  • Assist with production of editorial content on social media channels
  • Closely monitor social media activity relating to the Club, its players and staff.
  • Actively communicate and moderate across all channels in line with the Club’s standard.
  • Help promote the Club's activities, content and commercial messaging.
  • Work with internal/external stakeholders to support social media activations, platforms and campaigns.
  • Work with the Club's Partnership and Marketing teams to maximise the relationship of existing/potential international partners.

Skills & Experience


  • A minimum of three years’ experience working with sizeable social media audiences
  • Knowledge of key footballing territories, their audiences, and their idiosyncrasies
  • The ability to ‘audit’ audiences to understand the opportunities, and how the Club should respond to this to drive interest and growth
  • Experience writing for a range of social media platforms, ideally within sport / football
  • Strong coordination skills, able to demonstrate experience managing large scale content plans and schedules.
  • Experienced admin user of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.
  • Knowledge of other platforms used around the world including Weibo, Wechat, Tencent, VK.
  • Comfortable adopting a brand's tone of voice across social media platforms.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and published articles.
  • Sound editorial judgement.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools – e.g Hootsuite, Sprout, BuddyMedia.
  • Excellent understanding of analytics tools.
  • Video editing experience.
  • A finger on the pulse in terms of industry trends and emerging platforms and their potential application for brands.
  • Strong eye for visuals.
  • Degree or equivalent in English, Media, Journalism, Marketing or other related subject.
  • Adept using Word, Powerpoint, Photoshop and Excel.
